Job Overview
A reputable company in Riyadh is looking for a skilled Estimation Engineer. This role is ideal for civil engineers who have strong experience in construction estimation, tender preparation, and cost control.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and supporting the team in submitting competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bills of Quantities)
- Study drawings and specifications carefully
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs
- Analyze material, labor, and project costs
- Coordinate with project and planning teams
- Review quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Identify risks and suggest cost-effective solutions
- Maintain updated cost records for future use
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registration with Saudi Council of Engineers
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of construction methods and materials
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, or estimation software
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in large construction or infrastructure projects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
- Understanding of local market rates in Saudi Arabia
