Role Overview
A growing business in Bahrain is looking for an ACCA-qualified or part-qualified Accountant in 2026 to manage financial operations and reporting. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are detail-focused and experienced in handling accounting systems and compliance requirements.
The role involves managing daily financial activities, preparing reports, and ensuring all records are accurate and aligned with local regulations.
Core Accounting Duties
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain proper ledgers
- Prepare financial statements including profit & loss and balance sheets
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Handle payroll processing and salary records
- Ensure VAT compliance and timely filings
- Assist in audit preparation and documentation
- Track expenses and support budgeting activities
Systems & Tools Exposure
The role requires hands-on experience with modern accounting software and tools. Candidates should be comfortable working with:
- Zoho Books for cloud accounting
- Odoo ERP system
- Tally accounting software
- Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis
Candidate Expectations
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience in Bahrain
- ACCA qualified or currently pursuing final stage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of VAT and financial compliance in Bahrain
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
